Alissa Martin is a current daycare attendant that is looking to further her education and understanding in dog behavior and training. Her love and interest in dogs was realized while attending the Ellicottville BOCES animal science program her junior and senior year of high school. In 2016, she placed second in the NYS Skills Competition in animal Science. Also throughout her junior and senior year, assisted in teaching the beginner Agility class at the Olean Kennel Club. Upon Highschool graduation began attending SUNY Cobleskill for their Canine Program. She is also looking to begin competing in NADAC in the summer of 2018. Outside of work, you can find her playing with her five pet rats or training her little white rescue dog, Lucie. She and Lucie enjoy exploring the local hiking trails around Franklinville, NY.
